Hibiscus Close,  Alfords Point NSW. Australia.

This house was initially designed for a young working couple to live in and entertain and to take advantage of the wide Georges River views.

Strong but sensitive,it displays dramatic quality in the organization of light and mass.

The main aesthetic aim was to have horizontal freedom of space but to enlarge, fuze and open the various levels into each other, spliting them apart along the slope of the land.

An access bridge leads you to the entry foyer of this home which is the fourth level of the 5 half floor levels.

From the moment you walk through the door you marvel at the relaxed yet functional floor plan with its high cathedral ceilings and unique glass barrell vault which transmits light into and through the central stairwell.

The mezzanine level hosts the kids bedrooms above with the main bedroom and ensuite below and a study and dressing room at the entry level.

An extra generous living area is overlooking the beautiful view upstairs with a modern kitchen, dining and family room on the ground floor opening out to a sparkling solar-heated pool and spa.

This house is completely in the technical trend of modern            Architecture, with use of building materials such as, concrete and extensive glass, including metal balustrades and hard quartzite tile floors and black granite benchtops.
